Previously, hair removal of large areas such as a man’s back or a woman’s legs was a drawn out and painful experience. With the Duet the treatments are reduced from 2 hours to 20 or 30 minutes and the discomfort is minimal.

DUET uses vacuum assist technology to gently lift skin before applying laser energy. With this approach, the targeted tissue is gently stretched and thinned, forcing blood out of the treatment area, reducing pain.  This also pulls the hair follicle closer to the skin's surface. The cumulative result is that energy is delivered more efficiently to achieve excellent clinical results with speed and comfort.

The Lightsheer can also be used to treat small bluish and purple leg veins, which persist following sclerotherapy, which is still the recommended primary treatment for this condition.

Before Lighsheer Hair Removal:

• Do not wax or pluck at least 6 weeks prior to treatment
• Do not tan outdoors or in tanning bed for at least 4 weeks prior to treatment
• Do not exfoliate the day before your treatment
• Do not take a hot bath or swim for 24hrs after your treatment
• Do not schedule treatment when your skin is sunburned or irritated
• Do not use topical medications 24-48 hrs prior to your treatment
