Chin and cheek bone augmentation

When skeletal deficiencies are present in the form of an underdeveloped or retrusive chin or weak cheek bones, chin augmentation and cheek augmentation can be most effective in restoring a harmonious balance to the facial profile and appearance. These procedures require very small incisions which are well concealed and are often important adjuncts to procedures such as facelift, rhinoplasty, and neck lift procedures. High grade soft silastic anatomic style implants are utilized to obtain the proper degree of correction and symmetry. Occasionally Dr. Putman uses fat transfer as an adjunct to chin and cheek bone augmentation, as well. The results of implant augmentation are permanent and rarely is a second procedure ever necessary.
