Liposuction and fat transfer
Dr. Putman performs tumescent liposuction of the face and neck along with fat transfer when appropriate for correction of hollow areas around the eyes, midface, and brow. While some patients demonstrate hereditary problems with double chin or lipodystrophy, other patients manifest loss of volume along with other aging face changes. While liposuction can be thought of as an adjunctive sculpting procedure for the face, jaw line and neck, fat transfer can be performed as a rejuvenating procedure to restore shape and volume where appropriate. Both procedures are performed with very small cannulas to minimize bruising and to optimize the end result.
