Cheek/Mid Facelift

As the name states, the midface lift elevates the cheek tissues in a more vertical direction to restore a more youthful appearance. This may be done as part of a facelift procedure or as a separate technique performed through one of several approaches. This includes an endoscopic midface lift in which all incisions are hidden in the hairline. It can also be performed through a lower lid blepharoplasty incision in patients in whom lower eyelid improvement is also desired. In patients in whom volume restoration of the cheek is also desired, adjunctive fat transfer or cheek implants are utilized as well. Dr. Putman routinely performs cheek lifting when doing a deep plane facelift.
